I have a different kind of cycling challenge! I want to know my bike... I love cycling and I have enjoyed pushing myself to be able to cycle further and faster.

Now I would like to know inside out every part of my bike. Sounds sad I know! But understanding what each part of a bike is and how it works is really interesting for me.

My husband, my Uncle and I are going to the Isle of Sky to cycle the 95ml Skye Mor. It has nearly 6000ft of elevation, so will be quite a challenge. Could also be 'interesting' weather conditions even though it's at the end of Aug which should still be summer!

Like everyone else trying to get fit again, especially now the children are a little bit older. Couple of sportives planned with the French Resistance being the culmination of the training.

My first goal is to break the 50 mile in 1 ride barrier, then 100 KM. I am hoping to do a charity ride some time this year. I also would like to get down to 14 stone 7 pounds or below, as this will help me a lot on the hills.
