Key features

  • Hi visibility with safety markings
  • Breathable mesh lining
  • Comfortable fit

The jacket comprises of extensive high visibility that made my autumn evening cycling feel much safer. The jacket is incredibly light and comfortable with the added bonus of a fleece collar that helped keep my neck warm from the wind. The mesh inside is soft to the touch but also helps to keep me cool during my rides – even in 5 degrees it can still get a little sweaty riding at 28kph.

Due to its warmth this jacket would be better suited to the colder temperatures of winter. The mesh inside is soft to the touch but also helps ventilate my body as it can still get a little sweaty riding at 28kph. The jacket has two large vents on either side of the body running down from the underarm, as well as a fold on the back that allows for ample ventilation on those warmer nights.

There are two pockets, a concealed breast pocket large enough to fit a IPhone 6 and large back pocket big enough to fit an extra base layer for those snowy evenings, a snack, phone and wallet. The back pocket also comes with a fold over the zip so the rain is unable to penetrate through the zip.

One of my favourite feature on the jacket is the drawstring on the either side of the waist that allowed me to adjust the jacket to stop any potential wind chill up my back although I didn’t need to worry too much as the length of the jacket sheltered me from unwanted wind chill. My other favourite feature is the fit is comfortable and suitable for larger breasted women – it not only fits over the breast area but it is also extremely flattering around the waist.

For the price I can’t complain about this product – it’s high visibility and reflective patches keep me safe in the dark and the fit is super comfortable. But, the reason I have given it 3 stars is because of the arm length – I don’t have particularly long arms but they came to my wrists off the bike and as I was cycling gradually moved up my forearm which was cold.
