These leggings are a welcomed addition to my winter cycling collection. I wear a small in these which can fit ladies size 8-10 and waist size 25-27 inches. They're great for comfort but if they were purchased by a small 8 ladies size (25 inch waist) I fear they may be far too big due to the forgiving sizing!

As soon as I put on the trousers I noticed how soft they felt against my skin underneath my lycra. The waistband sits a little too high for my liking but helped keep my lower back warm, the overall fit is comfortable and warm.

The sweat-wicking material allowed me to wear these leggings four times without any odour beforing washing them which is handy when I have limited cycling clothes and commute to work. The merino wool is quick drying and breathable, perfect for rainy English days.

The lightweight material is ideal for more serious riders who are concerned about the weight of their kit when out on their bike. I was happy to commute with as little weight as possible too. However, with any merino fabric don’t make the mistake I did and wear it as a top layer, it is not windproof - base layer use only which is stated on the box!

These leggings are a must-have for any sports fanatic as they are soft, warm, sweat wicking and machine-wash at 40 degrees. They will go a long way to keeping you warm on those winter rides. Plus they're really versatile so I'll definitely be using them for multiple sports such as running, snowboarding, skiing and many more.

Merino wool can cost you the best part of £100 from most sports stores, so for £15.99 I would definitely buy a second pair. I gave the trousers 4 stars due to the fit, for all other reasons they are definitely a 5!
